TIPS MTC needed an Odoo ERP setup capable of supporting complex manufacturing and metal processing workflows, with a strong focus on production planning, subcontracting, Bills of Materials, Shop Floor execution, barcode processes, warehouse operations, purchasing, accounting, reporting, documents and user adoption.

A key operational challenge was the need to adapt Odoo manufacturing flows to real production conditions, including laser cutting batches, multiple employees assigned to the same work order, setup time allocation, material substitution, actual material consumption and better visibility of components on the shop floor.

Neun Pro delivered and is finalizing an advanced Odoo implementation for TIPS MTC, combining standard Odoo functionality with targeted configuration and development for manufacturing, shop floor, inventory, documents, reporting and integrations. The project included:

• Project management, process flow testing and user education.
• Core configuration across Sales, Purchase, Inventory and Manufacturing, including selected Studio customizations.
• Manufacturing planning, subcontracting flows and Material Requirements Planning support.
• Bills of Materials setup, BOM import and BOM-related production logic.
• Shop Floor configuration, barcode support and production execution testing.
• Work order improvements for assigning multiple employees to the same operation and calculating time tracking accordingly.
• Work order bulk/merge logic for laser cutting, allowing multiple work orders to be processed as a batch while distributing setup and production time across related operations.
• Support for manual adjustment of actual production time, actual material consumption, raw material substitution and material quality substitution when production reality differs from the norm.
• Warehouse setup, product categories, product import, certificates and document categorization.
• Document automation such as attaching drawings to purchase orders, pulling drawings on work orders, merging PDFs and supporting mass PDF imports.
• Accounting configuration, reporting adjustments and quality-check related configuration.
• Customer portal view, email configuration, pricelists, sales development and CRM configuration.
• Attendance configuration and IoT attendance integration.
• On-premise setup, website setup, email marketing and AI chatbot/LiveChat integration.
• Internal and client testing, transition through staging/production environments and finalization of remaining implementation tasks.

The implementation provides TIPS MTC with a stronger digital foundation for managing manufacturing operations, production planning, shop floor execution, material usage, work order tracking, documentation and internal collaboration. It improves transparency across production stages and supports more accurate control of time, materials, employees, drawings, stock, purchasing and reporting.

By adapting Odoo to the specific requirements of metal processing and laser cutting operations, the project helps the client reduce manual coordination, improve production traceability, support better cost analysis and create a scalable ERP foundation for further operational optimization.

For TIPS MTC, Neun Pro implemented and finalized an advanced Odoo ERP environment for manufacturing, inventory, purchasing, sales, documents, reporting, shop floor and integrations. The project is especially strong as a reference for complex production workflows, work order batching, laser cutting operations, BOM management, material consumption control, shop floor visibility and Industry 4.0-ready manufacturing processes.
